Meet Luke

Luke is a 6 year old lab pit mix from a high kill shelter. Luke has been at almost home for a little while due to heart-worm treatment. He was treated and is now looking for his forever family. Luke is very affectionate and loves people, cats and dogs!
Luke would loved nothing more than to have someone to go on walks with and then snuggle up on your lap for a nap. He walks excellent on the leash and is completely housebroken.
Luke is a good listener and knows some commands like sit, and lay down. He also loves to go on car rides and playing in the yard where he will play with his toys and soak in the sun.
Luke enjoys the company of some dogs, but as always an interaction is required.
Luke does resource guard with high valued treats or food. Therefore Luke would do best with older children.
