Luke Coonhound & Brittany Spaniel Mix Chesterfield, MO

Meet Luke! This sweet little guy may have precisely zero German Shepherd in him :-) but when he and his "Hazzard Puppy" siblings, Daisy and Bo, got rescued by a Good Samaritan after getting dumped out of a car, we knew we wanted to help! So we made them honorary GSDs and official Serendipity dogs.

Luke has the ears and markings to suggest a likely mix of hound and hunting breeds, and few cute floofs of hair that may mean some retriever or spaniel going on in that doggy DNA. But one thing we do know for sure: Luke is a total love bug!

Luke is about 17 weeks old now, and absolutely loves his humans--especially his foster home's resident little boy! We really hope this sweet guy gets to go to a home where he can have his own little boy or girl. Bonus points for this master canine snuggler if he gets to have couch and bed time with his own little human!

Because we don't know who Luke's mom and dad were, we don't know how big this boy will get. At 17 weeks old and with a lot of growing still to do, he's about 30 pounds, so we estimate between medium to large size in general.

While in foster, Luke has been getting all caught up on his puppy healthcare, including vaccinations, deworming, and microchipping. He will stay in foster until all of his healthcare is up to date, but if he just stole her heart with those soft brown eyes and totally smoochable face, then mosey on over to our website and apply to adopt!
