Luke's Story
Hi guys! My name is Luke and I am pretty fabulous! Well, first thing is I am devastatingly handsome and just this side of being a Rockstar! I love people, other doggies, kitties and kids. I am energetic and fun! What? You wanna know what happened to my leg? and my front canine tooth? Well, this is the story - I was hit by a car! I know......nobody was taking care of me and boom a car hit me. I was pretty banged up but someone dropped me off at an Emergency Vet Clinic. Well, normally if a doggie doesn't have an owner or a rescue to pick up the tab - dogs in my condition are euthanized. However, the stars were aligned just right and my luck changed. A wonderful vet tech felt sorry for me and stepped up and took over my medical bills. Ya'll know having a leg amputated and my other wounds wasn't cheap - she didn't care, she said it was love at first sight. She knew she couldn't keep me as she has a doggie and kitty and lives in an apartment - but she said she would fix me up then find a rescue. She reached out to a local rescue "Cenla Alliance for Animals" and one of the members is a sucker for a 3 legged - tooth missing handsome pup. I am almost 2 years old, up to date on all my vaccines, heartworm negative and sitting on geaux to find a family. I am crate trained and as you can see in he picture I love my foster brother and foster kitty - we nap together all the time. I would be such a wonderful companion for a single person or even a family. I am active, healthy, happy and again I say, "devastatingly handsome."! Did I also mention that I am a goofball sometimes? Well, I am.......I love to cuddle with my foster mom and have my belly rubbed and listen to her tell me how my life can get even better. My breed gets a bum rap - and I understand that - but hey - my foster mom says people just don't understand. I currently weigh 45 lbs and don't think that just because I am missing a leg that I am handicapped - Nothing further from the truth!! Think about me!! Wait I forgot as well as crate trained - I am potty trained!!! Yehawwwwwww I am fabulous!

Apply Today:
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScTORoCzcVe8_f4NnKCiQIGyVDOFXX108Oyt3T-U_rIfaxj0g/viewform

Adoption cost $620 w.
