LUKE German Shepherd Dog Suamico, WI

Luke is a young male, neutered German Shepherd with a lot of puppy energy and playfulness. Luke is a very sweet boy who needs someone who will spend time with him, take him for walks every day, and play with him. He is eager to please and is just learning his basic commands, so he will need someone who is willing to continue to work with him. He listens well and just wants to be with his favorite person all the time and will follow them everywhere.

Luke had not been socialized much in his first life so he does not greet dogs well, but once he knows them, he loves other dogs and loves to play, but he plays very rough so he cannot be around small dogs or other small animals. Luke really loves to run around and play fetch or play with toys. He likes to share his toys with other dogs or his favorite person - he doesn't "guard" anything including his food. He can be very exuberant when he plays though, so he is most appropriate for an adult household. He loves to go for car rides and rides really nicely. He has good house manners, is house trained and crate trained, has free reign in the house in his foster home.

All our dogs are vet checked, altered, up to date on vaccinations, on heartworm preventative and microchipped. We offer free beginner obedience classes at our facility for any dog adopted from us.
