Lucy German Shorthaired Pointer Mix White Marsh, MD

Hi there! I’m Lucy — a 2-year-old, 40 lb German Shorthaired Pointer mix with a heart full of love and a gentle soul to match.

I may start off a little shy, but give me a minute and you’ll find out I’m really just a big lap dog in disguise. Snuggles are my love language, and I’m happiest curled up right next to my people soaking up all the affection.

I’m great with dogs of all sizes and I did great with my cat test, so I’d likely do well with feline friends too. While I’m still learning the ropes with leash walking, I’m a pretty low-energy girl, so I don’t need tons of exercise to stay happy.

I absolutely adore children and would make a wonderful addition to a family. Plus, I’m fully crate trained and potty trained — no puppy messes to worry about!

*Disclaimer: Lucy is currently located in Texas and can be adopted either locally or out of state. We coordinate everything with our ground transport teams to ensure they arrive to the adopter safely and we keep the adopter in the loop every step of the way. Transport costs are included in the adoption fees. We also have our fosters video chat with potential adopters prior to adoption so that the adopter gets to see the animals and ensure it’s a fit. We allow adoption fees to be paid via goods and services if desired to give our adopters extra security and protection.
