We don't do meet and greets until applications have been approved. All our dogs are located IN Washington State. We are a local foster home based rescue.

Lucy is a gentle lady who is longing to be someone's cherished family member. She is a sensitive girl and she loves being near her people. She is a pretty laid back girl who will fit in nicely with a calm, predictable family. Lucy loves to burrow under her blankets as much as she loves napping in the warmth of the sunbeams as they come through the window. She enjoys going for walks and relaxing outside in a securely fenced yard while she sniffs the new scents of springtime.

Lucy has lived with another dog and is happily living with dogs in her foster home. She wouldn't mind a canine friend or two but would be fine if she was someone's one and only. Lucy has lived with cats and is respectful of them. Because of the quick and unpredictable nature of young children we are asking for a home without children under 10 years of age.

Lucy recently received a Senior Wellness Exam with bloodwork. She was also recently spayed and had a benign mass, skin tag, removed. Lucy is microchipped, spayed and up to date on her vaccines. She is 10 years old and weighs 15 pounds.

Please note, we have approximately a 200 mile adoption radius from Stanwood WA for our Senior Dogs. Save-A-Mutt may limit this distance based on the long term needs of this pet. We don’t adopt out of state except to the Vancouver BC area. We don’t ship dogs. Once approved you must pick them up in Snohomish County, WA.
