Hi there, I’m Lucy!
I’m an 11-month-old, 55-pound bundle of fun, and I’m available for adoption in Texas and New England!
My favorite things? Playing in the backyard, tossing my toys around, dining al-fur-resco at pup friendly patios, and zooming around with other pups! I’m a gold star student at doggy daycare — I always have great notes on my report cards for being friendly, playful, and the life of the paw-ty!
If you love to run or hike, I’d make the perfect partner — I’ve got energy to spare and a love for adventure. I also love riding in the car and exploring new places. Road trip, anyone?
But don’t let my playful side fool you — I’m a PRO at snuggles. After a fun-filled day, I’m all about belly rubs and cozy naps. I also love looking at myself in the mirror — what can I say? I think I’m adorable!
I walk beautifully on a leash, checking in and heeling like a champ. I’m working on sitting at every stop, and I go on daily walks to keep up my skills! I sleep peacefully through the night in my crate, and will hang out in there when you’re gone with a frozen Kong during the day. I might talk about it a little at first (I just don’t want to miss out on all of the fun!), but with consistency, I’m learning to settle in nicely.
I may need a little patience hopping in and out of the car, but if another dog shows me how, I’m all in! I’m still a bit of a curious pup — I love toys and would enjoy plenty of them so I don’t go looking for my own (like sticks, rocks, or other fun little treasures I find outside).
I’m working hard on my manners too! I don’t jump on my human friends inside, but sometimes when I get extra excited outside, I forget. If you turn around and ignore me, I remember my good manners and sit for attention like a polite pup. I’m working hard on my training to be the best pup for my forever family!
I’m spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and on preventatives — ready to start my next big adventure with you!
