Meet Lucy
Lucy, our 7-year-old, 22-pound wonder, is like no other. She's a perfect blend of Pac-Man's energy, an alligator's enthusiasm, and a Corgi's undeniable cuteness. If you're ready to embark on an adventure with a pup that's more unique than a three-eyed fish in a top hat, Lucy's your girl!
Why do we compare her to an alligator you ask? Well, when it comes to treats, she accepts them with chomp-like gusto. She has also perfected the welcome greeting of full body wiggles as if she is quickly swimming across the water to see you. The difference being she won’t eat you once she gets to the other side, she’ll just smother you with zoomies and snuggles.
Lucy is still getting used to the idea of young humans and other dogs and so for now, she is seeking an adult-only, pet-free abode. With time, slow introductions, and socialization, she may change her tune. Meeting new people is a bit like a dance for her – strangers trying to pet her will get a “mmm no thank you” but extend a hand a few feet away at her level, and she might give it a chance. Once Lucy has accepted you into her life, like a Pac-Man gobbling dots, she will follow you wherever you go. And with that will come lots of snuggles!
When Lucy has some free time on her hands while you are elsewhere, she makes it her mission to find napkins to destroy. In smaller pieces they are easier to play with, obviously. If you are not ready to have the napkins in your home reconfigured, Lucy is completely content hanging out in her crate while you are out of the house.
Lucy loves her daily walks, always decked out in her trusty harness (collars just aren’t her style… and she has perfected the art of wriggling out of them). She loves her daily walks almost as much as she loves her strawberry plush toys. Where Lucy goes, the strawberries go!
So, if you are ready for a wonderfully unique, energetic, and loving companion and are okay if all of the napkins in your home are multiplied into many napkin pieces, Lucy’s your girl!
