🐶 Meet Lucy — The Girl Who Just Wants to Belong 💗
Lucy’s story didn’t start easy. She was dumped in a very rural area and was found in terrible shape.
But thanks to over a month in a loving foster home, this beautiful girl has completely blossomed.
Lucy is a 3-year-old Border Collie mix, and she is everything people love about the breed — smart, affectionate, loyal, and deeply devoted to her people… with something extra special:
✨ She has an “off” button.
Unlike many high-energy dogs, Lucy listens when told “no” and immediately settles. She soaks up attention but knows how to relax and enjoy quiet moments, too.
💞 Her personality in a nutshell:
LOVES teenagers (yes, really — she adores them)
Best with older kids
Would thrive with non-alpha dogs
Potty trained & uses a doggie door
Greets her foster mom after work with happy tail swishes — no jumping, just pure love
Lays down in front of her foster mom, patiently waiting for affection
Enjoys walks and has made huge progress
