Meet Lucy

Lucy is a snowy white chihuahua that is a special needs girl. Upon intake, with the foster, gloves were necessary to handle her. It took 4 months for her to get over the trauma she had endured at some point in her life but she is a happy pupper now. She still is afraid of loud noise and the dark. She should be leashed anytime she goes outside unless you have a fenced in yard, proofed for a very small dog. During the day she really enjoys finding her hidey holes (behind couches or her crate or any place quiet where she can feel safe). Lucy needs a home

with no children or lots of activity.

Retired people who stay home a lot would be ideal for her. She lis ok with cats and seems to like other dogs If she has access to outside via dog door she takes care of her bathroom chores herself except last call at night. Using a puppy pad is something that does not work. She needs to go outside every 2 to 3 hrs in the fosters experience. She is a good eater and doesn't mind getting a morsel or two extra if available. Lucy is spade and had a dental

done plus all necessary vaccinations. She is microchipped and heart worm negative She is such a sweet little girl and finally starting to snuggle. She is a work in progress. She could easily become the love of your life if you just give her a chance!
