Adoption coordinator Kathy
Meet Lucy! She’s an adorable mixed breed dog who is 2 yrs old and weighs 28 lbs. She was found as a stray in the south. She is lower energy and loves to cuddle, so would love a home where’s she’s allowed on the furniture. She also enjoys lounging in the sun. She is shy at first and nervous around strangers, but warms up. She is house trained using a doggie door and doing well learning her leash training. She’s fine with other dogs and cats. Sweet girl! Adoption fee $400.
Please complete an online APPLICATION if you wish to adopt. Forever Home Rescue New England is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area. THERE IS NO SPECIFIC SHELTER LOCATION. If you wish to meet our dogs, you must first be approved by going through our application and screening process. Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. Also, any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the south and will prefer to do their business outdoors. Our dogs and pups are best suited for families with children 5 yrs old and up. If you are approved to adopt, please submit the $100 deposit by clicking on our rescue's name in this posting (Forever Home Rescue New England--in purple) which will bring you to a new page with the deposit link at the bottom. STOP! If you have not been notified of your approval status do not make a deposit.
