Meet Lucy
Hi! I'm Lucy! You know how some dogs walk super nice on the leash? Ya, that's me. I proud to say I have decent leash skills already and I truly enjoy walks with my people. And, you know how some dogs love affection and to bury their head into their person because they love them so very much? Yes, that's me too! I could snuggle, cuddle, be with you, and share affection all the live long day. People that don't want an affectionate dog need not apply!
One of my favorite positions is near you with me rolled onto my back showing you my belly for belly scratches. Ahhhh those feel awesome! And you know who else will feel awesome? You! Because I'm one of those happy-making dogs that just loves life.
Let's see, what else... OH, Guess what! I just had my birthday! I turned one year old. However, I had my birthday in the City Shelter so it wasn't much of a celebration. But now I get to live at Desert Haven until my family finds me. Once I'm adopted, I'd really like to celebrate properly, in my new home, with my new family, maybe with a little ice cream and biscuits. Tonight, I will dream of blowing out my candle and my wish be that my family finds me soon. Love, Lucy
