Meet Lucy
Meet Lucy! Lucy is a senior boxer mix who doesn’t let her age define her personality. Lucy came to animal control with a tumor that was open and very large. It was clear that for quality of life, it had to be removed. It weighed 2 lbs. She had a literal weight lifted off her and she started her new lease on life. Pathology reports came back and were our worst fears- mast cell cancer. Lucy is considered a hospice case due to her age and the nature of mast cell BUT with her spunky attitude and penchant for long conversations with her humans, we know she will thoroughly enjoy the time she has left.
Lucy is looking for someone who won’t mind a free loader who likes to sleep in. Someone with good food and who will listen to her great stories. She loves to have conversations! Someone who will help her make and complete her bucket list. Is it you?
