You must be 25 yrs of age or older to adopt through us. We are in the Rochester NY area and adopt dogs out to area residents.

To adopt Lucy you must live in the Rochester NY area and have a fenced in yard.

Lucy is an absolute Gem. She is 5 years old St Bernard girl coming to our rescue from a puppy mill. She spent the past Five years making puppies for her owner for money. We have had her spayed, vaccines brought up to date and entropian repair done on 2 of her lids so she is good to go.
She is one amazing girl, filled with love, animation, and trust. She is a BIG Girl but is low energy. She walks beautiful on leash and loves her daily walks. She is great with other dogs and is not phased by cats. This girl will bring so much love and joy to her forever family. She does require a fenced in yard and would like the company of another dog. All animals are kept in foster homes so there is no shelter for you to visit animal. Please go to https://new2urescue.org/adoption/adoption-application/ if you would like to meet the foster animal or learn more.

All our dogs have been spayed/neutered; treated for worms; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 mths or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchip; and examined by veterinarian and given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed.
