Lucy Rhodesian Ridgeback Mix Cypress, TX

Meet sweet Lucy Lou! Lucy is a 4 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback mix who is medium sized & full grown at 60lbs. She was adopted from CLM as a puppy and sadly, last month we found out her family dumped her at a kill shelter. We rescued her and learned that Lucy was bullied by the families other dogs, so as a result she is now dog selective. She is currently in a home with her four legged foster brother, Pete, and is doing very well but we would prefer if Lucy was an only dog. Lucy is very sweet and loves to be around her people. She wouldn’t do well in a home where she is left alone all day.
She is smart, completely potty trained, and knows basic commands. She does well on a leash, is good in the car and would like to go on a daily walk/run or play fetch In the back yard. She also loves to sunbathe! Lucy is good with adults & older kids (she grew up with three kids). She is kennel trained but would be happiest sleeping on her dog bed in your room. She wants to please and is a quick learner. We would like an experienced dog owner as she needs someone to be her alpha leader.
