Meet LUCKY CHANCE
Sometimes you just don't know what you are going to find when you open one of 500 emails that you receive in a day's time, merely because you are a rescue group. Critter Cavalry answered an email of desperation back almost 2 months ago and saw this precious boy's face. The owner of this young 10 month old pup (a Bulldog mixed with something intriguing) said that he had some neurological/genetic defects that made him walk funny and sometimes a little unpredictable when you try to redirect behavior. This boy has a very common form of Hydrocephalus that we are told is common in the Bulldog breeds. He was born this way. Lucky Chance is his name and we promised him that we would find the perfect family that would understand and Forgive his imperfections. This boy is always going to have his physical challenges and some of his mood triggers that a special needs sensitive family can work with. He has been raised until 2 months ago With little or no real guidance. He is good with other dogs and loves people but sometimes he is a little reactive when you try to redirect his behavior or what he is doing. I guess we could say that sometimes He is mentally challenged too and you just love him through it. His foster mom has seen improvement in the past two months and we are so hopeful that this 50 pound boy with the serious look (but is honestly Goofy) will be scooped up by a loving family that understands the compassion that Lucky Chance deserves.
