Lucky Boy Dachshund & Chihuahua Mix Grapevine, TX

Lucky Boy is a 3 year old happy-go-lucky boy. He appears to be a Dachshund/Chihuahua mix (Chiweenie) and has a lot of that personality. Sweet and stubborn at the same time. He is crate and potty trained (both with small reminders). He does well with the other dogs in the house. He loves to go for walks, romp and play in the yard, and snuggle with his person. And he loves to be completely covered with a blanket and is lightning fast at covering himself. Just look for the breathing blanket. Lucky Boy's favorite outing is to Starbucks where he enjoys the good taste of a puppuccino.

Lucky Boy lived in a home with an elderly couple. He's had very little exposure with children. For that reason we would prefer not to place him in a home with small children.

About Canine Soulmates Rescue: Our adoption fee is $250 for adults, $300 for puppies. The adoption fee includes having your dog fully vetted -- spay/neuter, vaccinations, rabies shot, heartworm testing and on monthly heartworm preventative. All dogs are microchipped, and CSR covers the cost of microchip registration for the first year. CSR adopts only to adopters in the Dallas/Fort Worth metro area. We require a home check for all of our adopters, and renters must have permission to add a dog to their lease agreement and have paid any necessary pet deposit. As a general rule, we do not adopt large breed dogs or puppies to apartment homes. Veterinary or personal references are checked.
