Lucky is an energetic 8 month old Smooth Coat border Collie mix weighing 36 lbs and will likely be 40 to 45 lbs when fully grown. Lucky's previous family no longer wanted her once she was no longer a cute tiny baby so they banished her to the backyard and otherwise neglected her. This sweet girl was so excited and grateful to have people who actually interacted and adored her once she was brought into rescue and placed with a wonderful foster mom. Lucky is now house and crate trained and doing very well with learning all kinds of new things like actually living in a house and being part of a family. She is still learning boundaries like any other youngster but she is very smart and eager to please. This darling girl is great with everyone she meets and is very good with other dogs and cats. She would do best with an active family who will continue to train her and give her things to do that will challenge her physically and intellectually as she is very smart and naturally energetic as is her breed mix. She loves to play with tennis balls and chase after stick. She is also a big chewer so she will need good chew toys to keep her occupied and keep those pearly whites in great shape. She is very good on leash and actually runs with her skateboarding foster mom. Lucky is already spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, current on preventatives, and micro chipped. She's ready to take up the next and best chapter of her life where she finds her always and forever family and home who will realize what a great girl she is and well worth future time and training to make her the best girl she can be. All she wants is for some to say 'your mine and I love you!'. Just bring on the sunshine each day and hold her close every night...you'll all be the lucky ones with Lucky.
