Meet Lucia Maria Sangria
Lucia was found stray and turned in to the shelter. This super sweet girl is a very alert and active 10 year old. At only 8 pounds, she is tiny enough to accompany you everywhere and would enjoy it since she loves all people. Lucia is selective with other dogs since she can be a little bossy and prefers to be the only princess. She would do best in a home where she is the only dog. Our vet discovered mammary tumors during Lucia’s exam so she is having surgery to remove them but would love someone wonderful to adopt (or perhaps foster to adopt) and love her during her recovery and beyond. Lucia will require brushing and regular visits to the groomer so that her coat does not become matted or overgrown. She is re-learning house training after life on the street.
