Lucero is a sweet, small dog with lot's of personality and the smarts that could rival Einstein. A cuddly girl who would do best living in an adult home, a home that will make the best out of her sweetness and her intelligence. She's small but mighty and craves direction from her humans. She's a very special little lady who loves her walks and LOVES to snuggle up. She is as sweet as sugar and looking for an understanding home that knows how to implement boundaries and limitations and guidance - she craves this! - in return you'll get the sweetest, most adorable, portable, blanket-burrowing companion ever!

Lucero does not do well around toddlers or babies. We don't know what, if anything happened to her in her past, but she does not like young children. She's living in foster home with a sweet, small boy dog and we'd love to see her in a forever home with a similar dog - a dog that will accept her and love her and bond with her (but it's not a deal breaker since she loves her people!). What Lucero needs most, is a loving and experienced family.

What's great about Lucero is that she's past the pesty-puppy stage, yet she's still young and loves to explore - she LOVES the beach! She's about 4 years old and around 8-pounds. She's already spayed, healthy and had a dental.
