Meet Lucas, a 6-year-old, Airedale terrier mix. He’s good with dogs and cats and older kids. He loves to go for walks. Lucas is a sweet and loyal boy, and when he falls in love with you, he will love you forever! He loves to cuddle and play with toys. Lucas has great dog energy and will need walks or a friend to play with. Lucas sometimes has trouble making friends with dogs bigger than him, but he still loves to make friends to play with. Lucas lives in Oklahoma right now, but storms and tornados are a little too scary for him to weather alone and he needs his person with him when they happen. This sweet, quirky boy would just love to be a part of your pack and join your family for a life of fun!

Because we have different adoption coordinators working with different dogs, your application may be missed if you only apply once.

We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions finding our fur babies the most loving homes. Please do not apply if you are not serious about adopting.

Our adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age-appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention, and travel expenses.

All our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for their transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed.
