Meet handsome boy Lucas!!

He's about 7 years young and a true puppy at heart! Lucas is approximately 65lbs of hunk a love....he is on a diet since he was at the shelter for quite a while and let's just say he really loves his food and all that sitting around in the shelter kennel didn't do wonders for his figure ;-).

Even though he's a big boy he thinks he's a lap dog, he'll sit on you and be perfectly happy on your lap if you let him. Happiness in a lap...not too bad :-).

Lucas LOVES attention (emphasis on LOVES)!!
He'll nudge you with his cute nose or he'll paw you for pets...don't ignore this boy ;-).
Looking for a cuddle buddy?!! We found your boy!! Professional couch potato as long as you sit next to him. Now don't get confused he LOVES his walks!!
He will follow you everywhere you go...yep everywhere so no lonely bathroom breaks for you LOL.
Turn around and there he is...

He like chew toys, he was without them for quite a while so please put your shoes where they below in the closet or you won't have them anymore.
Make sure he eats away from any other dogs or he'll go straight to their bowls and eat theirs no extra calories Lucas and that's just rude :-).

Lucas makes new friends everywhere he goes, he's really excited to meet everyone and he may jump on you for a moment just to let you know his big butt is there just in case you missed him ;-). Because of this we feel older children might be best just due to accident happy knock overs, but he's great with children also.

He's pretty good with other dogs. He ignore dogs that bark at him as well as other dogs being walked while he's on his stroll. He's living with a female staffy that is over selective of her doggie friends and he gets along lovely with her even those she stares at him LOL.

Lucas loves car rides but once you lift him in...know you will need to lift him out as well...good luck on both it just the beginning and the end that need attention but he's getting the hang of it and really loves the car.

He like his bathes so bath time is a easy with Lucas.
Lucas is such a good boy, he deserves a home that will give him all the love that he deserves. A sweetheart all the way around. xoxo
