Meet Luca aka Lucas, he is a 1yr old, neutered male, husky. He transferred in from another Oregon Based shelter who are at capacity and struggling. Luca is a very sweet guy with lots and lots and lots of energy. He loves other dogs, but is not a fan of cats. Luca would love a home with physical activity, like hiking or running and with room to run. He would also love a canine play buddy, he currently plays with Mingan, Bessie, Freya and Sandy. He learns quickly from other dogs, he is very intelligent and thrives with routine!! He also loves and I mean LOVES water, whether it be a pool or a hose he doesn't care and will get in. He would not do well in a home without a yard or a private yard, no community yards please, , he has a lot of energy to burn and if he is not allowed to burn the energy off he gets mouthy out of frustration (never mean). We are working on leash training, he was pretty good manners. So, do you have an active household, do you have an energetic dog that needs a buddy, then Luca may be your next best friend!!

My adoption fee is $175: This includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccines, microchip + 1 year membership paid for, dewormer, flea treatment and a 1 pound bag of food they are currently on.
