PERSONALITY TRAITS:
Louise is good with other dogs and enjoys off leash doggy playgroups. She is possibly good with cats and as for children it likely wouldn't be an issue, so long as the child(ren) respected her space, understood that she can be afraid of strangers, and took their time getting to know her. Louise is house and crate trained but could use a round of positive reinforcement training to learn basic commands. She pulls a bit on leash, but is learning - we don't know if she was ever walked before.

Louise came to us shaking, scared, and covered in ticks, looking to her friend and kennel-mate Thelma for comfort. With a lot of treats and patience, she's started to open up, but will need an understanding adopter who will take their time. She's beginning to relax and seek out attention and would love to find a forever home that will give her a soft, quiet place to land, where she can get comfortable and open up in her own time. Preferring to sit back and take it all in, Louise is happy to get pets and face rubs as she watches the world go by and she'd likely thrive in a home with another dog or two who can help her gain more confidence.
