Louis (Louie) Shepherd & Australian Shepherd Mix Williamsburg, NM

Hello there! My name is Louis but everyone here at Desert Haven calls me Louie. I think Louie fits me well because I am a very cute little puppy and it's a cute name so win-win! I am 30 pounds on-the-dot right now and 6 months of age so I am sure I will grow some more, but best guess is that I will stay in the medium-sized range. My hair length is medium and I am scruffy and soft. Enough about my vital statistics! Let's get to my personality.

Snuggly! Playful! Very puppy! Happy! Affectionate! A little on the I-really-want-to-be-close-to-you-so-let's-cuddle side. I love toys and playing tug and keep-away. I will be honest here and let you know I haven't had any training leading up to needing rescue (my family moved and did not take me along pooo) so I have my puppy teeth and am just now learning how to chew on toys rather than your arm LOL but I AM learning! Just know that I am SO SO SO CUTE and you and I will have a ball of a time teaching me everything I need to know to grow into the Dog of Your Dreams.

I love other dogs and am a friendly boy. I have relied on my littermate until now so I am a little bit shy when I first meet someone but all you have to do is get down to my level, show me a treat, and give me some gentle petsies -- and then we will be besties for the resties! I cannot wait to join my family so come to meet me very soonski! I am waiting for you! Love, Little Louie
