Meet Loofa
Meet happy go lucky Loofa! He is a neutered male who was born around 2020. He weighs about 90lb and looks to be an Anatolian Shepard/ Pyrenees Mix. He is update to date on vaccinations, heart worm negative, and microchipped!
Loofa gained his name after he was an unclaimed stray with a grossly infected
imbedded collar around his neck. He was named Loofa after needing a bath because he smelled horrible when his foster parents brought him to the vet. Even the vet staff said he smelled terrible but now he smells great!
Loofa is house trained and kennel trained. He is able to use a doggie door meant for smaller dogs because he just doesn’t see himself as a large dog.
He loves to spend most of his time outside with the choice to come in whenever! He is well mannered but is working on boundaries. Being as tall as the kitchen table has its own set of challenges when the table is a head rest.
Loofa is a medium energy dog, enjoys laying out on the patio but also playing with toys. He does well with other dogs and young children. His foster parents have noticed Loofa is protective over his kennel when it comes to food but is not
protective of food outside of his kennel.
Loofa would be a great addition to a family who accepts a large dog who does not know he’s a large dog!
