Meet Looey a two -year old absolutely perfect dog and he is housebroken, loves life and likes to run in a back yard as a young dog should. The crazy guy when he can run like the wind. He likes other dogs very much but grew up with a Cairn Terrier and they shared a food bowl so we see a bit of food protection. Looey will"resource protect" toys and food from other animals we want to place him with a companion dog but would like the companion to be very laid back on toys. You would not be able to free feed your pets and will have to lift the food bowl at each meal. Not a big deal as it should be something you do daily. Loey likes to take them all and toys are protected if you try to take them away. The best thing is to limit toys or don't try to take them away from him. The writer of this profile has three dogs that resource protects toys and having no toys in our house is the norma and my dogs live nicely without toys.

He has been with older children and would do well with teenagers. He loves dogs and can play with other dogs in the neighborhood. He is neutered and has all vaccinations and loves life! He grooms well, rides in a car well and thinks he is a big cheese and he is! He is a great dog as his breed mix is loving, sweet and gentle.

His foster home can not drive to do home visits so this dog should be adopted locally to Rochester, NY We do require a traditionally fenced yard (no electric fencing) If children live in the home they must be at least 12 years old.
