London is a Black Lab mix girl that was born in October 2011 and weighs 57 pounds. London is quite the catch. She is perfect, and will make a great companion for a very lucky adopter. She loves play time, tiny Beggin’ Strips, and lots of kisses. She walks well on a leash and would be a wonderful downtown pup. She is unfazed by the loud sounds of passing cars and seems to genuinely enjoy being amongst the downtown ambiance. She even loves to go out to eat on restaurant patios and will quickly make friends with the servers and anyone sitting nearby (dog or human). London's favorite activity is to be around water. Whether it's a puddle, pool, creek, lake, or river, London is always ready for a good swim. London may be new to the senior life, but she will check off every box on your list for a perfect companion: calm, gentle, great on a leash, housetrained, friendly with strangers, great downtown or suburb dog, loving, cuddly, and just all-around happy to be a part of your world. Sweet London recently went out on the town and here is what her date had to say about her, "LONDON is going to be a WONDERFUL companion for some lucky human. She is PERFECT! London is so easy to walk on a leash. I think she would enjoy being an urban dog. She was unfazed by the traffic noise and seemed genuinely interested in the hustle and bustle of the downtown area. London likes to have fun! She is part fish (and a great catch). She begged me to let go of her leash so she could swim on over to the Aquarium. She was heartbroken I wouldn't let her slide/roll all the way down the hill at the park. We ate lunch on the patio of a restaurant and she immediately fell in love with our waiter. She swapped spit with a Visula (dog) at the table seated next to us. At some point a sparrow hopped close to London and she watched it go right on by. LONDON is a very calm girl. She loves everyone. She is happy to be alive!"

We're open Wednesday - Sunday 12 - 5 p.m but doing adoptions and meet & greets by appointment only.

The adoption fee is $90 which includes a free veterinary exam within 2 weeks of adoption at local participating vets, up to date vaccinations, Heartworm test & preventative, dewormer, flea preventative, microchip, & spay or neuter.
