Lola Gina Brigida's Story

Lola Gina Brigida is a gentle and loving 10-month-old, 7 lb Chihuahua mix.

This sweet girl sadly came from a home where her owners didn’t provide the basic care of fixing their dogs, which led to an accidental litter of four puppies. With six dogs living in an apartment that only allowed two, they surrendered the entire litter to Shelter Hope.

When Lola first arrived at Shelter Hope, she was understandably very shut down; her whole world had been turned upside down. Now, after some time to settle in and decompress, she’s slowly starting to come out of her shell! Calm, gentle, and quiet, Lola is an introverted but loving little dog. She’s a shy, but sweet and beautiful girl.

Lola takes cues from the other three dogs she was surrendered with—when they feel comfortable, she does too.
