Meet Lola – The Little Dog with the Biggest Heart ??
At 4 years old, Lola has already lived through more than most dogs could imagine — and she’s met every challenge with courage and a tail wag.
She was rescued from the streets of Tijuana in October 2021 as a tiny puppy with a broken front leg. After her first surgery and a great recovery, fate threw her another curveball — she broke the other front leg in a leap off the couch, leading to surgery #2. Later, a back leg became injured, requiring yet another operation. Eventually, we learned she has a genetic bone condition that makes her, well… a little “handi-capable.”
But here’s the amazing part: she hasn’t let it slow her down one bit. With good nutrition and lots of love, she’s been injury-free ever since. She gets around just fine in her own unique way, enjoys her food (maybe a little too much — she’s delightfully chubby), and is full of life, personality, and affection.
Lola is looking for a home that will appreciate her gentle soul, her resilience, and her slightly wobbly but very determined walk. She promises to be your loyal shadow, your snuggle buddy, and your daily reminder that joy can thrive no matter the obstacles.
