Meet Lola
Lola is a ten-month-old Newfoundland. She is very sweet, but will require a home that has the time and energy to carefully monitor her interactions within her own home and the environment at large. She does well with other adult dogs as long as all play sessions are observed and intervention occurs when/if dogs get over-stimulated/over-threshold.
As Lola is young and a potential flight risk, families will be required to have have a physically fenced yard, at least four feet tall, attached to the home. All children will need to be over the age of 8, and should be big dog savvy. Lola does chase after cats some, but does not attack them and it is fairly easy to call her attention to something else when needed (treats, toys, etc).
An in-person home visit will be required for Lola, thus all applicants must be within a two hour drive of our administrative location in North Branch, Minnesota.
Adoption fees vary depending on the dog, but range from $300-$600.
Interested parties are required to complete our organization's application here: http://bit.ly/MNNewfApp
