Loki, 2 year old, male, Terrier mix
Loki was originally surrendered to the Idaho Falls Animal Shelter with his dog brother when his mom could no longer take care of them. Loki had two torn CCLs and needed medical attention sooner rather than later. He was not even getting the proper pain medications to keep him comforable. Double CCL surgery is not cheap. We reached out to our friends at the Idaho Humane Society of United States where they have special grants to take care of medical cases such as these. They generously sponsored him and he travled to Boise, ID last week to fix his knees. Loki will be in medical foster recovering for at least a week or two and then can start going with potential adopters. He is VERY gentle, loves his tennis ball and is good with other dogs. We will know more about kids and cats in the near future. Loki will need to be a low activity dog because of his injuries he has sustained in the past. To set up a meet and greet, please fill out a dog adoption application ASAP or if you have already submitted one with us, call/email to put your name in line. We will form a line like usual based on who has an active and approved application in. We will slowly go through our line to set up a private meet and greet for potential adopters to foster.

Please note, Animal Adoption Center cannot guarantee the breed, composition or ages of our dogs as we usually have no history prior to them entering the rescue. We make every effort to ensure the dogs are healthy.
