Meet Logan - available for adoption. Approximately 4 years old.

Hungry, dirty, neglected and abandoned - this was Logan’s start. Dumped on the side of the road and cast away like garbage. Logan and two other dogs foraged for food and some kind of shelter on a country road in Louisiana. Logan managed to find his way to a local home. He was filthy and limping and they knew they could not help him so reached out to our partner in Louisiana Keri. Keri picked him up and like so many discarded pets he was found to be heartworm positive. The long 3 month journey for heartworm treatment began immediately. The healing of his spirit would begin as well.

Logan is a sweet boy, who was obviously someone’s pet. He knows basic commands – sit, down, stay. Has a medium to low energy level. He is currently being fostered in a home with an older woman and is an easy boy to deal with. He has been around other dogs. He is great boy, waiting for that special family to call his own.
