LOBO is 5yo Husky/Shepherd mix with deep, soulful brown eyes & a heart of pure gold! He is great with other dogs & regularly participates in Husky playgroups in his foster home. LOBO has awesome house manners & rides great in the car! He can keep up with the best of them but LOBO also appreciates quiet snuggle time. LOBO loves to go for short runs, walks along the Bosque & day hikes in the foothills! He is an amazing dog with so much love to give. LOBO has waited for his people to find him, for much too long. NOW is LOBOS time!!

As an all volunteer, foster based rescue 501(c)3 non profit rescue, NMDOG is always in need of new, approved foster homes in order to continue our Mission: to serve & protect NMs Forgotten Dogs!! If you see a dog you are interested in that says "in need of foster", we are currently seeking a temporary foster home for that dog in order to provide them with the cozy & loving experience of a home environment while opening up space in our kennels so we can save another life. There is never a cost to foster for NMDOG & you will have the support of the NMDOG TEAM every step of the way. We take the time to really get to know the needs & personalities of our kids & we go the extra mile to ensure we make the best possible match for everyone. Our adoption fee is $250 which includes 6 weeks of obedience training post adoption (classes located in Abq & are also offered to our foster guardians), a complimentary vet wellness check & our dogs come with all of the supplies they need to get started. All adopted dogs also receive free or discounted goodies services from many of our awesome supporters!! Grooming, food, training, boarding, pet sitting & more. All of our available dogs have received a full medical & behavioral clearance prior to placement. They are spayed or neutered, UTD on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed, Heartworm tested & currently on HW/flea & tick preventative.
