Meet Lizette, a 4-year-old dachshund with a spirit as bright as her eyes and a heart full of sweetness. This little lady has faced some big challenges, having been diagnosed with IVDD, which no longer affects her mobility. She has made a full recovery as she is up and walking, running and rolling over. Whomever adopts should know that this could potentially happen again. Her forever home should be committed to continuing to attend laser and acupuncture, help her on her weight loss journey and continue strengthening her back through hydrotherapy.

Lisette is a very goofy girl and we can tell she hadn't been around many other dogs but now has had a chance to learn appropriate play and cuddling behavior. She would do well around a relaxed and friendly male or chill female. She may boss around a younger male but will also play with them. She does like to be close to her humans, including sleeping in their bed.

Lisette has her dental/spay on 1/16/25 and is ready for adoption afterwards.
