Meet Little Ryan

AVAILABLE SOON - ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS NOW!
Little RYAN is an adorable Terrier mix who wound up at a high kill shelter along with several of his house mates when their owner could not longer care for them. All of his housemates were already rescued and are in their forever homes. Ryan is currently awaiting transport in a foster home in SC. Here is a little bit of what this sweet baby's foster mom has to say about him: "He is the sweetest boy that is slightly shy! He loves snuggles and sleeping on the couch under a fuzzy blanket! If you have been on the fence about adopting a dog and want a great starter dog HE IS IT! He loves fiercely!! Ryan especially loves kiddos! He is great with ours! They are 7 and 3 years old. He also does well with other dogs, is doggy door trained, and doesn’t bother our chickens. We finally tested him with our cat. Last night, Ryan was outside beside our cat and didn’t bark or bother him! We are not sure how he would do in a contained, smaller space, but he just left the cat alone in the yard. We are still working on "gentle" when giving treats! "
Ryan is scheduled to arrive at our rescue on July 17th and he will need a foster or forever home when he arrives. He is estimated to be approximately 2 years of age, although he could be a bit older. Ryan weighs 15 pounds and he is good with other dogs. He is neutered, micro-chipped and current with vaccinations. He has recently been treated for heart-worm disease and is well past his "limited activity" part of his recovery. Ryan's suggested adoption donation is $325 in order to help recover some of the rescue's vetting costs. If you would like to foster or adopt Ryan when he arrives, please submit the adoption application through our website OneLifeToLiveRescue.com. After your application is reviewed and approved, a volunteer will contact you to answer any questions you may have and to explain our very popular foster-to-adopt program. Thank you for considering an adorable, rescued Terrier mix!
Little Ryan has been officially adopted by his Foster-to-Adopt mom and dad. His new name is "River" and he will be spending the "happily-ever-after" part of his life in Saylorsburg, PA!!
