Good with adults: yes
Good with kids: unknown, Max hasn't been around kids but I think he'd do better in a home with only adults.
Good with other dogs: yes, he loves playing
Good with cats: yes, his best friend is a cat
House trained: yes
Crate trained: yes
Energy level: Max is active around other dogs or cats but he's also good with being cuddled up on the couch, bed or dog bed.
Can be handled/touched: yes, if he is given time to get to know the person
Barker: Max barks if he's startled, if he meets a new person he will bark a lot.
Flight risk: Max does fine in the fenced in back yard but hasn't been out much by himself or for long because it's cold. He can slide by you and slip out of an open door if not leashed
Food aggressive: Max will growl at other dogs that come up when he's eating but that's it.
Current food: Purina dog chow small bites, and canned food
Walks on leash: yes
Rides well in car: yes, Max rides well in a car but jumps in your lap so will need to be secured.
Destructive: Max is still a puppy and chews on everything.
Needs a home with a yard: preferred
Needs a home with another dog: Max will do okay without another dog but it would be good if he had a playmate even if it's a cat that loves to play.
Can live in an apartment: no, because he barks

Foster insights/backstory: Max needs a patient person that is willing to work with him and understand that he's not very trusting. We feel he has been badly abused as he will run if someone walks towards him and he does startle fairly easily. Once a person gains his trust, he wants to be by their side and cuddle. Max is a loving little guy, he loves to play with other dogs and is best buddies with a cat. He loves to lay in bed under the covers! Max has done better with women than men and likes to play with the person he trusts. Max would do great with someone that is home a lot or an older person with a quieter home.
