Linus's Story

COMPLETED APPLICATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED PRIOR TO MEETING OUR DOGS. APPLICATIONS ARE CONSIDERED IN THE ORDER IN WHICH THEY ARE RECEIVED. http://www.redbarnrescue.com/adoption-application.html
__________

Linus is one of those unassuming dogs who you might not look at and immediately think "that is the dog I'm going to love!" but get to know him and its a whole other story! He just has a way about him - attentive and watchful - that tells you he will be your best friend and most loyal dog ever!

Linus is a border collie mix about 4 years old and weighing about 50 pounds. He is housetrained and crate trained, and a quiet dog. He is currently living in a townhome with his foster and does great with the resident dogs (we are unsure about cats and children since he is not exposed to either in his foster home). He does not require a fenced yard (though he would probably enjoy it). He loves his walks and goes 4-5 miles a day with his foster. He still pulls a little on the leash but they are working on it!

Linus is a well-behaved boy who doesn't jump on the furniture, always sits for his treats and enjoys having his ears rubbed. He doesn't want the rumor to get around, but he is secretly quite the cuddle bug! He'll be a great, low maintenance addition to most homes!

Linus is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and up to date on heartworm and flea/tick preventative. Our $250 adoption fee helps cover these expenses.
