Meet Lindi
Meet Lindi! A beautiful sight hound from the Middle East!
Red Collar was contacted by a rescue group in Oman. They take in Wadi dogs - dogs that are descended from the Saluki breed and native to the Middle East. In Oman there are no animal control shelters for stray dogs, and they are generally just shot by the police. This small rescue group takes in as many Wadi dogs as they can, and sends them to rescues in Europe and North America. One of their volunteers was flying to Houston and brought Lindi to us.
Lindi is a sweet girl and loves people and other dogs. Her foster mom in Oman was a dog trainer, so Linid is very well trained.
Lindi is very active and loves to play with other dogs. We require her new home have another dog for her to play with. She also needs a large yard in a quiet suburban or country setting. City noises makes her uncomfortable.
Lindi loves to cuddle and has an adorable curly tail.
