Meet Lincoln! A smart, and affectionate Labrador Retriever mix who was saved from euthanasia at the San Antonio shelter. This handsome boy is fully grown and under 50 lbs, making him the perfect mid-size companion.

Lincoln is incredibly loving, eager to please, and highly trainable—he just wants to make his person proud… though treats don’t hurt as an added perk! While he thrives with people, Lincoln would do best as the only pet in the home and with teens or older, where he can decompress from shelter life, build confidence back, and ultimately learn how to be a dog again. He was hit by a car and developed anxiety at the shelter; it’ll take time for him to heal physically and mentally, but he’s worth the investment.

Can’t adopt but want to help him? He’s currently looking for a foster home in the Central Texas area to give him a safe place to reside while he waits for his forever family. If you have a quiet home, some patience, and a big heart, Lincoln is ready to reward you with endless loyalty and affection.
