Meet LILY

This sweet girl is LILY. She's a mixed breed dog, part Pit Bull and maybe a little Shar Pei. She is around 8 years old and weighs approximately 55 pounds. Lily is an awesome dog who loves people, especially kids, and does well with other dogs! She is in a foster home with two children between the ages of 8-13, and three other dogs (medium and large sized).

Lily has great house manners; she does NOT require crating when left alone during the day. She loves food, walks and cuddles, maybe even in that order. Her foster parent shared that she really enjoys being able to run and play in their fenced yard; when it was warmer she loved to lay out there catching some sun. Generally, Lily just wants to be near her family - including the other dogs. Based on her history, she was ignored and left outside and then abandoned; we think this is why she's so happy to be with her foster family and their dogs. Lily has "cauliflower ear" which was most likely caused by frostbite.

Lily will bark when she gets excited or wants a treat. Based on what we have learned about her in foster care, we consider Lily more of an alpha leader dog. She is calm, courageous, and very loving. Lily is a great family dog.

Lily is in good health. She has been provided an extensive dental due to numerous broken teeth, been spayed, inoculated, tested for diseases (negative), wormed and microchipped. In addition, she has had a complete blood panel run to check on her overall health. Lily is now ready for her final and forever family.
