Meet Lilo

Meet Lilo - a French Bulldog who's only about 2 years old, but her body has already endured a lifetime of trauma. She was rescued after surviving at least three C-sections, the result of backyard breeders forcing her to produce litter after litter.

Lilo isn't just a Frenchie - she's what some breeders now call an "exotic bully," created by mixing French Bulldogs with even more compact and muscular breeds to make them smaller, stockier, and more "desirable." These dogs are often bred recklessly with zero regard for health or safety, and Lilo is a heartbreaking example of what that kind of exploitation looks like.

She was discarded when she was no longer profitable, dumped with scars from her surgeries and no care for the toll it took on her body.

But despite everything, Lilo is unbelievably sweet. She's quiet, gentle, and just wants a soft place to land. She's learning what love feels like - and we're determined to show her that she'll never be used or abandoned again.
