Lilo is a neutered male yellow Labrador/Hound mix, weights about 50-55 pounds, and is approximately 2 years old. He was rescued from the euthanasia list at a high kill, rural animal shelter in the South. Lilo is a very happy guy! He is very friendly, loves people, great with children and other dogs. He's not interested in the rabbits or cats who live with him. He still loves to chew, so he needs a lot of toys that he's "allowed" to chew - or he'll make do with whatever he can find that belongs to somebody else! Lilo is energetic and enthusiastic about life, which translates to "he's high energy." He walks nicely on a leash (he currently uses a Gentle Leader), knows the "sit" command, and takes treats very gently. Lilo has no dietary restrictions and is healthy. Lilo would be a great fit in any home - he just needs a little basic training, patience, and understanding. Lilo is current on all vaccinations, heartworm and Lyme negative, and gets monthly heartworm preventative. Come meet this diamond in the rough - he'll steal your heart!
