Meet Lillibeth

"Lillibeth is a lovey-dovey dog. That is the first thing you need to know about her. She is a cuddler and is ALL about her people. She would follow you to the ends of the earth. She is so loyal and so sweet. She has these big brown eyes that remind me of a baby seal. She is a leaner and just about melts into you when you are petting her. She is a big fan of attention and is not afraid to keep nudging your arm for more pets.

Lillibeth's sole mission in life is to get more pets. She will stay with one person for as long as they will pet her. However, once they stop and she sees another person she will take off for them in hopes of more pets. She is such a little trader...but in the best way! Lillibeth is good with other dogs and cats but really doesn't care about them. Her main focus is on her people. She hasn't engaged in play with the other dogs and may growl if they get into her space but has never done anything more. She would probably love getting to be the only dog in her new home but would also do just fine with another calm and chill dog.

Lillibeth has great house manners. She is potty trained, not a chewer, not a barker, and is really a pretty easy foster. She is needy though and is always hoping for attention and love. She will definitely need a home that doesn't mind a super affectionate dog. One that is always by their side and always trying to cuddle or get pets! ? "

---------------------------------------------

Gone are the nights that you were wishing for someone to cuddle with. Gone are the days that you wish you had someone that you could go out and do things with. Gone are the days that you are wondering if you will ever find your happily ever after. Gone are the days when you wonder if anyone will ever love you as much as you will them. I have a dog who will fix all the above and fill your home with so much love and sweetness, you will wonder how you ever lived without her! Say hello to Lillibeth!

Lillibeth is one of the cutest little dogs that I have ever seen. Well, to me she is small. She is pretty short and stocky, but I should mention that she does weigh 72lbs...she just doesn't look it haha. This adorable gal will win your heart in a matter of seconds. First, you will fall in love with her face. It is like looking at a baby seal and sometimes it seems like you could get lost in her eyes! She has a gorgeous golden/reddish coat mixed with white, and when you add in her fluff...she is just really a cute dog! We are estimating her to be around 2 years old, and our best guess on her breed is either a Great Pyrenees/Aussie mix, or maybe a Golden Retriever/Aussie mix.

Lillibeth came to us after she found herself in the animal shelter when no one ever claimed her. Why she ended up there...we don't know. Our belief is that she did used to have a home though before either being dumped or wandering off from home as she looked in pretty good shape when she came to us. It is very hard to believe that this girl was on death row before we pulled her. She is so incredibly sweet and loving and it is so hard to believe that her life was almost snuffed out. Unfortunately, whoever had Lillibeth originally didn't keep her on prevention and she came out heartworm positive so is currently undergoing treatment.

Lillibeth is not an active dog. She is actually pretty chill and laid back. However, she is active for love. That means that she is always by your side, nudging you for pets, and on the couch ready to cuddle with you. Lillibeth is currently being fostered around other dogs and cats and is pretty indifferent to them. She is not the biggest fan of having dogs get up close and personal with her, but if they leave her be she pays them no mind. If they do get in her space, she will sometimes growl but that is the extent of it. If you have been reading bio after bio with us seeing that the dog would do best with another dog....well here is the girl you have been looking for! Lillibeth would be perfectly happy as an only dog as long as her people were around a lot. That would be a dream come true for her actually. However, if her new home had another chill dog that wasn't always in her face wanting something she would do just fine.

Lillibeth has not been on any walks or to any public outings...besides the vet. She did do well at the vet though and was eager to befriend all the people there so she could get pets from them. Lillibeth does good on the leash but could use some more training on it. We do feel that Lillibeth would enjoy going places with her new family and being out and about. Not because she is active and needs to get her energy out, but because she wants to be wherever her people are! If her new family were homebodies, Lillibeth would be just as happy with that kind of home environment as well. As long as she is getting attention this girl is happy.

As of right now, Lillibeth is not really a playful dog. She hasn't shown any interest in fetch or playing with toys. She had not had the chance to play in any water, but our guess is she would be indifferent to it. Now, if her person is in the water...well she may just have to take a swim to come and say hello and get pets...maybe.

Lilliebeth would probably do just fine in an apartment setting if her new family were home a lot. She has not shown to be a chewer or a big barker. She is a pretty quiet girl, and is happy to just relax and be with her people. Lillibeth is potty trained and can be trusted to have free roam of the house. She has no experience being kenneled.

If this girl has stolen your heart by now...I would be surprised. She is as sweet as she is beautiful and she is going to make someone an amazing dog. Her main purpose in life is to love and be loved...and in my opinion...you cannot get much better than that! ?

*Lillibeth is currently undergoing heartworm treatment and won't be able to go home until around February 24th.

Lillibeth is an amazing girl who has already been abandoned at least once which almost cost her, her life. So, if you apply for this gorgeous girl, be sure that you are ready for furever with her. She is a FUREVER dog, not an until dog. She doesn't deserve to have to be passed around again a few weeks-months-or even years down the road. For a dog that is as loyal and loving as her, she is in this for the long run and you should be to!

If you are interested in offering her forever, you can apply to adopt me at
https://www.pyrpawsandfluffytailsrescue.com/adoption-app

Once this app comes in, it will be sent to his foster family. This is to help ensure that not only is he a good fit for you but that you are also a good fit for him! ?

She is currently residing in McAlester, OK. area If you have fallen in love with her and are out of state, how about a road trip? We won't send our dogs on a long transport, so the only way we are allowing her to relocate to another state...is if she is driving off with her new family ?

Her adoption fee is $250.
That will include her DHLPP, Rabies, and Bordetella. She will be micro-chipped, have a fecal done, be de-wormed, be spayed/neutered, and will be current on heartworm and flea/tick prevention.

*It will also include her heartworm treatment.
