This pretty lady was surrendered to a high kill Southern shelter after her elderly owners could no longer properly care for her. Lilith is a fabulous dog who gets along great with everyone! She is good with other dogs and is listed as a Lab/Shepherd mix. However, only a DNA test will tell what her true breed make up is. Lilith was very tolerant but polite in response to a rambunctious dog during one of her introductions. She has a great energy about her and was able to make some new dogs feel comfortable and safe at the shelter.
We are unsure as to how she would do with cats but we have asked that she be cat tested. An update will follow when we hear back from the sending shelter.
Lilith weighs approximately 50 pounds and is about 2 years of age. She has already been spayed and micro-chipped and she is up-to-date with her vaccinations. Lilith has recently undergone treatment for heart-worm disease but she is well on the road to recovery. She is expected to arrive on transport on July 17th but will need a foster or forever home to go to so that we can get her on that Freedom Ride! Lilith was adopted directly off of transport today. She is now simply called "Lily" and she will be spending the "happily-ever-after" part of her life in Effort, PA!!
