Lilah Terrier Mix Manhattan, KS

Lilah came to us in March timid and scared. She had a skin infection and was very underweight. This girl had a rough go at the start of her life, the evidence is the scar left from a stab wound in her chest.
Over the last 8 weeks she has found her confidence, gotten healthy, and turned into one of the sweetest and funniest girls!
Lilah is kennel trained, potty trained, and does great on a leash. She gets excited to see new people, dogs, and squirrels but redirects well with a “leave it” and a nudge. She also does well at the dog park, waiting patiently for cues from you and other dogs before greeting new friends!
Lilah loves to play and can be a little rough, not quite understanding how big or strong she is. She is very tolerant but should not go to a house with small children. We think we’ll do fine with a cat sibling and she would LOVE another dog in the house to play with and love on. This girl is VERY affectionate!
She is about a year old so she'll need plenty of exercise, attention, and things to chew on. She needs a family who will keep working with her on her commands and manners!
