Meet Lil George
Meet George - George was found abandoned in an apartment after his owners moved out and left him behind. He was taken to Kent County Animal Control and then to Pet Takes Rescue.
George was not in a healthy condition when he came to our rescue. He was severely overweight and had luxating patella’s in both knees and a torn ACL on his left leg. He has since had surgery to repair his left leg and is still on some restrictions as far as jumping and running.
George’s ideal home is one with an older retired couple as he just loves to snuggle under fuzzy blankets. George resides with other dogs but doesn’t interact with them so he wouldn’t be a candidate for someone looking for a companion for their current dog.
George is housebroken, up to date on Vaccines, Heartworm testing and prevention, neutered and microchipped.
