Libodias Border Collie Mix Westfield, NY

Libodias/Lilo arrived at NCCR on 10/5/20 after being surrendered when his family could no longer care for him due to medical issues. Lilo is a neutered male Border Collie mix, approximately 1 year old. He is learning basic commands, including “sit”, “stay”, and “down”, and is mostly house trained. Lilo is crate trained, but whines when he has to be shut in the crate. Typical of his breed, Lilo will bark to alert on noises, visitors, and to tell you that he wants something. He enjoys going for walks and playing tug with ropes. Border Collies are a working breed that has higher than average activity requirements to keep them happy and prevent unwanted destructive behavior and excessive barking. Lilo will require ongoing daily training, plenty of mental and physical exercise, and lots of patience and love to help him become the best dog he can be!

Lubodias is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. His adoption fee is $215.00. (cash or check only, we are unable to accept credit cards)

We do adopt out of state, however we do not transport or ship dogs. Potential adopter must be able and willing to travel to the Rescue to meet the dog they are interested in.
