Meet Liberty

Meet Liberty—36 pounds of pure bulldog charm with a side of “I need to get to know you first.”

This 1-year-old French/English Bulldog mix may play it cool at first, but give her a little time, and she’ll be your ultimate cuddle buddy.

Before coming to her current foster home, Liberty was living in a car, so she’s still adjusting to the luxuries of indoor life. She’s mostly house-trained but might have an occasional accident if you miss her potty signals (cut her some slack—she’s still figuring out that carpets aren’t grass).

She’s a social butterfly with other dogs, from tiny 2-pounders to 130-pound giants, and she’s got four kid roommates (ages 1, 5, 7, & 9) that she does great with.

She’s also an A+ adventure buddy—whether on-leash or off-leash, she’s a fantastic hiker who will happily hit the trails with you. And when she’s not out exploring, she’s busy collecting her prized possessions: toys and sticks (the bigger, the better).

If you’re looking for a sweet, snuggly pup who just needs a little patience to blossom, Liberty is your girl!

Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs, we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.

We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.
