Meet Liberty
Liberty is a GSD/Malinois mix that came to us from Texas, where she and her three sisters were found abandoned at 6 months old. When they came into the rescue, they were terrified of anything and everything, but especially people. Two of the sisters have been adopted, and Liberty is fostered with her sister, Carly. Liberty is now about 1 year old. In the foster home, Liberty has made great progress building trust, and now joins the family on the couch for snuggles and pets and seeks out affection. She's become an expert hoarder of stuffies. Liberty's comfortable and playful with other dogs, but is afraid of the resident cat in her foster home. She's crate trained and learning some basic cues. Liberty needs a quiet home with patient adopters that can meet her where she is and build trust over time. She's most at ease with other dogs, and would do best in a home with at least 1-2 dogs in a pack dynamic. She'd be a perfect third dog.
